If you're looking for that perfect outdoor adventure on your Vail or Beaver Creek summer vacation, look no further. Beaver Creek Stables operates the best horseback riding stables in the Vail Valley to provide you with one of the most exhilarating outdoor activities on your Colorado vacation. With stables on the Beaver Creek Mountain, Beaver Creek Stables will ensure that your horseback riding experience will be second to none.
Choose from one or two hour rides, a three hour picnic ride, rides to Beaver Lake and Beano's Cabin for dinner. To experience a luxurious, most picturesque Colorado horseback riding experience, try the sunset ride to Beano's Cabin on Beaver Creek Mountain. Children age 7 and older are welcome to hit the horseback trails and younger buckaroos can test their horseback riding skills on our ponies. Horseback riding lessons are also available.
E·ƒ(ec)’s Summer School of Rock Day Camp is directed by Grammy nominated music educator, Jake Wolf. Each day the campers will participate in three hours of musical instruction. Kids will also enjoy yoga, mindful meditation, hula hoops, and art. Each camper will receive their own ukulele and a T-shirt. Scholarships available. Alpine Arts summer camps include a dynamic lineup of themed art sessions from May through August. These kids' camps give children ages three to six and seven to 12 a chance to explore all art mediums including painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture and crafts, all based on the weekly theme. Now also offering camps for Tweens and Teens over the summer. Campers can be signed up for either Half Days, Full Days or Full Weeks (Teen camps require week session enrollments).
In addition to our regular schedule of classes, events, and drop-in activities, Alpine Arts Center works with schools, organizations, families, and businesses in the Vail Valley to provide specialized programs that fit their specific needs. If you have a particular program in mind that you would like to see launched at Alpine Arts Center, please contact us and we will work together to take the idea from a thought to fruition. Take a fun and informative trip down memory lane through the past century of ski fashion with the Colorado Ski & Snowboard Museum's new video, 100 Years of Ski Fashion. From 1915 to 2015, the new video chronicles not only the clothing, but also the types of equipment that were utilized and trendy during each decade. The video was the creation of the Museum's Resource Center staff, Dana Mathios and Ashton Helmstaedter, and was shot and edited by Massif Studios in Denver.
