There are 5 hot spring pools that have sandy bottoms that you’ll stumble upon there located beside Hot Springs Creek. While the water temperature at the main source is right around a scorching 147 degrees Fahrenheit, the cool streams make the soaking temperatures a comfortable 101 to 106 degrees Fahrenheit.
There are cabins that you can stay in at the resort. Also there are exhilarating activities such as skiing that visitors also enjoy. During the night, it’s adults only in their hot springs. Reservations are required for the hot springs. You can book your visit up to a month in advance.
Old Town Hot Springs
These fabulous hot springs have been around for a long time, bringing in visitors from all over since the 1880s. And long before that, the Native Americans also soaked in these thermal waters. Old Town Hot Springs has 8 geothermal areas, including four hot pools, a kid pool, a lap pool, and the Heart Spring. The springs provide a family-friendly atmosphere but keep in mind that the Heart Spring is only for ages 15 and up. There’s an on-site massage therapy that’s available by booking, while your kids are sure to love the two 230-foot waterslides and their aquatic climbing wall.
Settled on the banks of Fish Creek, Old Town Hot Springs offers an all-day pass for a very affordable price of $15 for adults and just $7.50 for kids ages 5 to 12. And if you’re visiting in the winter season, there’s even a hot tub that’s kept at a toasty 102 degrees Fahrenheit!

These thermal springs are located about 69 miles outside of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Wolf Mountain Hot Springs
