Orlando Resorts with water parks? Sign me up! At some point during your busy vacation visiting several of Orlando’s amazing theme parks, you’re going to need the opportunity to slow down and catch your breath. That way your kids can cool off in the sun while you finally get the chance to sit back and relax. 

Fortunately, for you, there are several outstanding Orlando resorts that have awesome water parks on-site (or adjacent) that provide families with everything they can hope for in a vacation stay experience. These are several of the best Orlando resorts that you need to check out today!

Margaritaville Resort Orlando

If you’re looking for a tropical escape to kick back and relax along with a vacation experience that your entire family will never forget, check out Margaritaville Resort Orlando. Accommodations range from hotel rooms to quaint cottages.

Their St. Somewhere Spa & Tropical Pool Oasis offers offers fun in the water. But the resort’s location next to the Orlando’s newest water park, Island H2O is what makes this resort a water lover’s ideal destination. Island H2O Water Park offers over 20 experiences. These include adrenaline-inducing slides, a lazy river for relaxation, a wave pool, and a children’s area.

Note that guests do need to purchase tickets. They are not included with your stay. And, the water park is closed from late November until early March.

Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort

The Four Seasons Resort Orlando offers a luxurious water park experience for the whole family with their Explorer Island Water Park. From fun water slides to a lazy river and splash zone at this five-acre water park, there’s something for everyone at this top-notch resort. There’s also a complimentary kids club and an adults only infinity pool.

Their suites also have plenty of room for your family to sprawl out after a fun and exciting day at any one of Disney World’s theme parks.

Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress

Just minutes from Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld sits Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress’ sprawling 1,500-acre property with its own water park, The Villa Pool Complex. Enjoy 12 waterfalls in the 800,000 gallon lagoon pool. There are also water slides, a splash pad, and even a rock climbing wall at this resort’s outdoor paradise. This four-star resort experience provides plenty of other amenities that are sure to keep everyone in your family happy.

The Fountains Resort

The Fountains Resort is home to a sizable water oasis with a massive zero-entry pool, two water slides, interactive water fountains, a children’s pool and splash pad, as well as relaxing hot tubs. The resort itself is a time share property. But you can rent condos without buying in. What we loved about this is the space. Our 2-bedroom condo had a full kitchen, plenty of space to spread out, a washer and dryer, and private balcony. This is ideal for a family staying more than a couple of nights.

Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate

For those of you willing to splurge a little for a more luxurious and entertaining vacation package, staying at the Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate is an absolute must! This resort boasts 8 on-site restaurants, an impressive 11 acres of pools, slides, and splash pads for the whole family to enjoy. Along with its wave pool, the resort provides an adult-only pool, arcade area, mini golf, and a championship golf course. And if that wasn’t enough, they also offer cabanas with flat-screen TVs and refrigerators, so you can truly relax in style.

Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites

This next vacation stay on my list is perfect for families that are currently on a tighter budget but still present their guests with plenty of fun and excitement. 

Besides their impressive 20,000 square feet of water park, Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites also provides their guests access to their lagoon pool, splash pad, 4D movie theater, Batman laser tag, arcade room, fitness center, and several other awesome amenities. 

Each of their suites comes with multiple bedrooms, a kitchen, and enough room to spread out. Not to mention, conveniently located only a mile from Disney World.

Staying near Disney World or at a hotel poperty with a shuttle is ideal if you plan on visiting the parks too.

The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando

You can rest assured that the Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando offers the perfect family getaway with its on-site, surf-themed Surfari Water Park. 

Slide down the Florida Stream or float along the lazy river while soaking up some sun. And if you’re looking for a break from the water, check out their other on-site amenities. There’s a golf course, spa and salon, fitness center, and delicious dining options.

Coco Key Hotel and Water Park

Coco Key Hotel and Water Park offers an incredibly affordable family vacation package with their on-site water park. Enjoy thrilling water slides, a lazy river, and a tropical indoor pool while staying at this conveniently located hotel. 

And when you want to take a break from all the water fun, they also offer a 24-hour fitness center, arcade room, and plenty of delicious dining options.

Flamingo WaterPark Resort

The Flamingo Water Park Resort offers its guests a convenient and inexpensive vacation experience with its on-site waterpark. The resort is located just 1.5 miles from Disney World. Their park features multiple slides, a lazy river, and even a kiddie pool for the little ones. 

And when you need to take a break from all the water fun, check out their mini golf area or rent paddle boats at their lake. The resort even has kid suites that come with their own child-sized amenities. How cool is that?

Last but certainly not least, the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort presents its guests with a variety of waterpark options. These include a lazy river, multiple pools, and even its own private waterfall. Along with their impressive water amenities, they also offer on-site dining options, golf courses, fitness centers, and even spa services. A vacation stay here will be one to remember for years to come.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park

What visit to Orlando would be complete without a trip to one of Disney’s famous water parks? Blizzard Beach offers something for everyone. From thrilling slides to a lazy river perfect for floating around on a hot day.  And with the added bonus of being located at Walt Disney World, there are plenty of other attractions nearby. Making it easy to take a break from all the water fun.

After being closed, Blizzard beach reopens November 13, 2022 with touches of a Frozen theme.

Universal’s Volcano Bay
