We asked a group of Disney-loving moms what they wanted for Christmas and there was a common theme. Perhaps not surprisingly a Disney cruise was at the top of many mom’s wishlist. This had been a bucket list item for us, until we crossed it off the list last year. But even though it was crossed off another is still at the top of our wishlist. Here’s what else these moms put at the top of their Christmas wishlist.
Christmas Gift Ideas for the Travel Loving Disney Mom: A Disney Cruise
Kim was pretty specific saying, “The one thing I would love for Christmas is a Disney Cruise (Very Merrytime Cruise)! Why? Because I haven’t had a vacation with all three of my children together EVER! It would be AMAZING for my family to be under one roof for the holidays. Especially on a Disney cruise where we could just relax and focus on each other while enjoying the MAGIC of Christmas and Disney!! I would get us all matching family Mickey pajamas and family matching shirts.”
Our family spent a couple of years talking about taking a Disney Cruise. We even set up a separate savings account for it. The idea of experiencing Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay and the ability to have both family time and adult-only time were some of the most attractive parts. Once Disney added itineraries with a Star Wars Day at Sea we knew we just had to go. It was such a fun and bonding experience that taking another Disney Cruise has made its way back onto the travel bucket list. It actually tied for top place of our Christmas wishlist again this year.
Christmas Gift Ideas for the Movie Loving Disney Mom: AMC Gift Cards
Lori Hope Fries with TheMainStreetMoms.com has a great idea for the top of her wishlist: movie gift cards! She loves experiences, her 3 sons, and anything Disney. The AMC movie A-List tops her wishlist so that she can see 3 movies a week if she want to. I love this idea because it gives experiences throughout the entire year. There are some really fun movies coming out this week, and into next year. You won’t want to miss Ralph Breaks the Internet (Wreck It Ralph 2), Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grimwald or The Grinch. They are all out this week!
Christmas Gift Ideas for the Mom Who Wants to Relax (Isn’t this us all?)
The second item of Sarah’s Christmas wishlist, with DisHappyHome.com is Disney gift cards. She says, “Although people know I love Disney, no one ever gives me Disney gift cards. This is what I need people!” She really wants an appointment for a massage at the Senses Spa aboard the Disney Cruise Line (Oooh, there’s that lusted after Disney Cruise gift again!). Sarah says there is nothing better then a Warm Stone Massage at the Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort or a Bamboo Massage on the Disney Cruise Line. A Disney gift card could be used to help pay for an unforgettable experience at one of these spas.
Christmas Gift Ideas for the Tech Loving Mom
Lisa with AdventuresinFamilyhood.com would really like an Apple Watch for Christmas. Not only because they look really cool, but for the health benefits. She says, “As a busy mom, I’ve let my own health and self care fall by the wayside. I need to get back to running and a healthy lifestyle for me and for my family too. I’m hoping having such a great device will be the motivation I need.” We agree, health is at the top of our 2019 goals. All of us parents need to make sure to live a healthy life if not for us, for our children. Any technology that can help us do that is a win in our book.
Christmas Gift Ideas for the Memory Keeping Mom
Last year I did actually receive a new “real” camera as a Christmas gift. I am still learning to use it, but it has made such a difference in the memories (and expressions) that I am able to capture. Mine is a Sony a6000 mirrorless and I think it is perfect. Marie with BeautifulDayBlog.com would love a New Nikon DLSR camera. We sure hope that her family reads this and gets her one. As they will be the beneficiary of some fantastic memories.
Christmas Gift Ideas for the Crafty Mom
I am a self avowed non-crafty mom. But I sooo respect those who are. And, often wish that I was a crafty mom. I can’t say that I even know what this is or does, but I am going to find out! Kami with theMommaDiaries.com says, “I would LOVE a Cricut Maker for Christmas! I love DIY crafts…especially Disney! This would make my life so much easier!”
